Hilliard benefitted from Sparkman in 4-2 loss
While Brooke Sparkman delivered a dominant effort on Friday, a win just wasn't in the cards for Hilliard. Despite the defeat, Sparkman was still locked in as she tossed seven innings while giving up just one earned (and three unearned) runs off five hits.
Sparkman and Hilliard will head out on the road to square off against Paxon School For Advanced Studies at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Sadly, Sparkman's big day wasn't enough to stop the loss, which snapped Hilliard's three-game streak of wins at home.
