Basketball Game Preview: Bishop Manogue Miners vs. Jesuit Marauders + How To Watch

Bishop Manogue hasn't had much luck against Jesuit recently, but that could start to change on Saturday. Having just played yesterday, the Miners will jump right back in to play the Marauders at 1:30 p.m. Bishop Manogue knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past three matchups -- so hopefully Jesuit likes a good challenge.

Bishop Manogue's tournament run continued when they took on Bishop O'Dowd on Friday. The Miners received a blow as they fell 79-60 to the Dragons. The Miners were down 66-43 at the end of the third quarter, which was just too much to recover from.

Meanwhile, Jesuit came up short against Bishop Gorman on Friday and fell 68-55. The Marauders have struggled against the Gaels recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost matchup.

Bishop Manogue's defeat dropped their record down to 2-1. As for Jesuit, their loss dropped their record down to an identical 2-1.

Bishop Manogue couldn't quite get it done against Jesuit in their previous matchup back in December of 2024 as they fell 64-51. Thankfully for the Miners, Asher Schroeder (who dropped a double-double with 21 points and ten boards) won't be suiting up this time. Will that be enough to change the final result?
