Baseball Recap: Hallsville Takes a Loss

Hallsville was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat. They came up short against the Eugene Eagles, falling 10-1. If the Indians were looking for revenge after losing 6-2 to the Eagles when the teams met back in April of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Hallsville's loss dropped their record down to 3-9. As for Eugene, the win (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 7-6.

Hallsville wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 21-2 defeat against Mexico on the 12th. As for Eugene, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, an 11-0 victory against Prairie Home on the 14th.
