Soccer Recap: Martinsville Picks Up Fourth Consecutive Victory

Martinsville was not the first on the board on Thursday, but they got there more often. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 2-1 win over the Plainfield Quakers. The final result isn't all that surprising considering Martinsville's considerable advantage in MaxPreps' Indiana soccer rankings (they are ranked sixth, while Plainfield are ranked 45th).

Charlie Rawlins was the driving force of Martinsville's attack as he scored both of Martinsville's goals, bringing his season total up to five goals.
