Hillsboro had won four straight games and Amyah Werth did her part to make it five on Monday. The Trojans walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Republic County Buffaloes with plenty of help from Werth, who had ten digs and two aces. She has been hot for a while, having posted ten or more digs the last 15 times she's played.

The 2-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Hillsboro was: they took both sets by at least 12 points. The match finished with set scores of 25-10, 25-13.

Hillsboro's win bumped their record up to 29-9. As for Republic County, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost eight of their last nine contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 12-27 record this season.
