Basketball Recap: Enterprise's Losing Streak Is a Thing of the Past

Enterprise can finally bid farewell to their four-game losing streak thanks to their game on Friday. They walked away with a 63-53 victory over the Millard Eagles. The Wolves have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Eagles, too.

Enterprise's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Crew Evans led the charge by going 5 of 8 on his way to 13 points along with seven boards and six assists. Evans is trending in the right direction considering he's improved his point production for three straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of Treyson Whitman, who went 8 for 13 on his way to 19 points and seven rebounds.

Enterprise smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 16 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least eight offensive rebounds in 15 consecutive contests.

The win got Enterprise back to even at 8-8. As for Millard, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five games, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-10 record this season.

Enterprise will take on Beaver at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Enterprise is facing Beaver at the right time seeing as Beaver is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Millard, they will square off against Kanab at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Kanab knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past five matchups -- so hopefully Millard likes a good challenge.
