Baseball Game Preview: Hancock County Hornets vs. Owensboro Red Devils

The Hancock County Hornets will look to take advantage of their home field for the first time this season as they take on the Owensboro Red Devils at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.

Hancock County is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to 15 runs last Tuesday, they were much more limited against Madisonville-North Hopkins on Tuesday. They lost 12-1 to the Maroons.

Hancock County saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Carson Clark, who went 1-for-2 with one RBI.

Meanwhile, Owensboro beat Warren East 4-1 on Tuesday.

The victory got Owensboro back to even at 1-1. As for Hancock County, their loss dropped their record down to an identical 1-1.
