Softball Game Preview: Berea-Midpark Titans vs. Steele Comets

The Berea-Midpark Titans will challenge the Steele Comets at 4:45 p.m. on Thursday.

Berea-Midpark managed to slip by Chardon the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Titans came up short against the Hilltoppers on Tuesday, falling 12-0. The contest marked the first time this season in which the Titans were not able to get on the board.

Meanwhile, Steele never let their opponents score on Tuesday. They blew past Strongsville 7-0. The result was nothing new for the Comets, who have now won eight matchups by seven runs or more so far this season.

Steele has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-7 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 7.3 runs over those games. As for Berea-Midpark, their defeat dropped their record down to 17-6.
