Miller had already won four in a row and they went ahead and made it five on Saturday. They came out on top against the Philip Scotties by a score of 2-0.

Paige Werdel paced Miller's offense, picking up eight kills. Werdel got some help from Gracen Werdel and her 22 assists. Gracen was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.

Miller's win bumped their record up to 18-7. As for Philip, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 8-21.

Miller has already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Warner on the 18th. As for Philip, they will face off against Bennett County at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
