Auburndale benefitted from Weinfurter in 4-1 win
Winning always takes teamwork, but on Monday Caden Weinfurter stepped things up a notch to give Auburndale the 'W'. Weinfurter was dynamite, striking out seven batters over four innings while giving up just one earned run off two hits.
Weinfurter and Auburndale will play host again on Tuesday to welcome Stratford, where first pitch is scheduled at 4:45 p.m. Auburndale has some work to do to even out the 2-8 series between these two since May of 2018, but a win here would be a good start.
