Basketball Recap: Taylor Snaps Five-Game Streak of Losses at Home

There's no place like home for Taylor, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Friday. They came out on top against the Kokomo HomeSchool Eagles by a score of 44-35 on Friday.

Jallainah Harris was her usual excellent self, almost dropping a double-double on 17 points and nine rebounds. That makes it four consecutive games in which she has scored at least a third of Taylor's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Amelia Collins, who posted nine points and five boards.

Taylor smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 11 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least 11 offensive rebounds in three consecutive contests.

Taylor's victory ended a five-game drought at home and bumped them up to 5-16. As for Kokomo HomeSchool, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-2.

Taylor wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 58-29 defeat against Rochester on the 27th. Kokomo HomeSchool has also already played their next game (against Noble-Whitley Warriors), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
