Maplesville put another one in the bag on Tuesday to keep their perfect season alive. They walked away with a 42-31 win over the Billingsley Bears. The Red Devils have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Bears, too.

Maplesville's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Chris Simon led the charge by putting up nine points. Another player making a difference was Devon Nix, who posted four points in addition to five assists and three steals.

Maplesville was working as a unit and finished the game with 13 assists. That's the most assists they've managed all season.

Billingsley's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Eli Manning, who had 12 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Kyle Boice, who posted seven points.

Maplesville's victory bumped their record up to 4-0. As for Billingsley, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-8.

Maplesville wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 36-23 win against Breakthrough Charter on the 19th. As for Billingsley, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 62-40 victory against Ellwood Christian on the 19th.
