Fort Chiswell has been struggling as of late, and they have yet to win a game this season. They came up short against the Giles Spartans on Wednesday, falling 7-2. Fort Chiswell were not able to make up for their defeat to Giles from their previous meeting back in May of 2024.

Breana Mathews and Carissa Smith scored both of Fort Chiswell's goals, bringing their combined season tally to four goals.

Fort Chiswell's loss dropped their record down to 0-8-3. As for Giles, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 7-5.
