Basketball Recap: Boiling Springs Comes Up Short

Boiling Springs blew Camp Hill out of the water the last time the pair played, but on Tuesday Camp Hill got their revenge. The Bubblers fell just short of the Lions by a score of 52-50. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest loss the Bubblers have suffered since February 20th.

Despite the loss, Boiling Springs still got an impressive performance from Ethan Yenser, who posted 20 points. That was a full 40% of the Bubblers' points, marking the eighth time in a row Yenser has scored more than a third of the team's points. Isaac Kimmel was another key player, putting up eight points.

Boiling Springs has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-4 record this season. Camp Hill's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-4.

Coming up, Boiling Springs will venture away from home to square off against Bishop McDevitt at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. The Bubblers will need to watch out since the Crusaders have now posted at least 55 points every time they've taken the court this season. As for Camp Hill, they will be home for the holidays to greet Big Spring at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. The Lions will be up against the Bulldogs' rather soft defense (which has allowed 58.2 points per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
