Baseball Recap: Freedom Wins Going Away Against Deer Valley

Freedom got themselves on the board against Deer Valley on Thursday, but Deer Valley never followed suit. They put the hurt on the Wolverines with a sharp 9-0 win. The victory continues a trend for the Falcons in their matchups with the Wolverines: they've now won six in a row.

The team relied heavily on Antonio Molina, who went 3-for-4 with three runs, three RBI, and two doubles. Those three hits gave him a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Isaiah Keys, who went 2-for-3 with one triple.

Freedom was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .400. They are a perfect 3-0 when they post a batting average of .375 or better.

The win got Freedom back to even at 12-12. As for Deer Valley, their defeat was their ninth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 0-16.
