Volleyball Recap: Cleveland Rams vs. Corinth Holders Pirates

Cleveland had already won four in a row and they went ahead and made it five on Thursday. They put the hurt on the Corinth Holders Pirates with a sharp 3-0 victory. That's more bragging rights for the Rams, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 25-10, 25-14.

It was another big night for Sadie Johnston, who had 39 digs. She is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 11 or more in the last 19 games she's played dating back to last season. The team also got some help courtesy of Addison Evans, who had nine digs, two kills, and 31 assists.

Cleveland kept the net locked down and finished the game with 11 blocks. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Corinth Holders didn't had any.

Cleveland has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight contests, which provided a nice bump to their 17-4 record this season. As for Corinth Holders, their loss dropped their record down to 8-10.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Cleveland will head out to square off against Willow Spring at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Cleveland is looking to tack on another W to their four-game streak on the road. As for Corinth Holders, they will take on South Garner at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Corinth Holders is facing South Garner at the right time seeing as South Garner is stuck on a 13-game losing streak.
