Pinkerton faced Winnacunnet in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Wednesday. The Astros put the hurt on the Warriors with a sharp 9-1 victory. The Astros might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won six matches by six runs or more this season.

Pinkerton pushed their record up to 9-1 with the win, which was their sixth straight at home. As for Winnacunnet, their loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 7-3.

Looking ahead, Pinkerton will head out to challenge Londonderry at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. The Lancers will roll in looking for their 13th straight victory, something the Astros surely won't give up without a fight. As for Winnacunnet, they will take on Exeter at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
