Football Game Preview: St. Patrick Shamrocks vs. Mendon Hornets

Two dominant backs in Hudson King and Owen Gorham are getting ready to go toe-to-toe. The St. Patrick Shamrocks will take on the Mendon Hornets at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday. Both teams are still undefeated after ten games, but that won't be the case come Saturday.

St. Patrick is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Saturday. They breezed past Marion to the tune of 62-16. The Shamrocks might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won eight matchups by 26 points or more this season.

Brady Leonard was his usual excellent self, rushing for 134 yards and three scores on only eight carries. His longest rush was for an impressive 50 yards, which helps to explain his lofty yards per carry total. Jerryd Scheurer also helped with two TDs in total.

Mendon played against Sacred Heart Academy on Friday and won via forfeit.

St. Patrick's record is now 10-0. As for Mendon, their record now sits at an identical 10-0.
