Volleyball Recap: Sullivan Golden Arrows vs. Peru Tigers
Sullivan had already won four in a row and they went ahead and made it five on Saturday. They had just enough and edged the Peru Tigers out 2-1. The Golden Arrows have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Tigers, too.
It was an exciting match in which no team won back-to-back sets, but at the end of the day Sullivan got the one that really mattered. The final score came out to 25-20, 22-25, 15-4.
Bailee Kintner and Kaelyn Edwards certainly did their best on Saturday to avoid the loss. Kintner had five aces, while Edwards had 12 digs. That's the most aces Kintner has posted in her last four games.
Sullivan has been performing well recently as they've won 11 of their last 13 matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 20-8 record this season. As for Peru, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 11-17.
