Volleyball Recap: Boswell Takes Loss Despite Strong Performances from Emma Stuhr and Maribel Longspaugh + How To Watch

Boswell lost against Birdville back in August of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Pioneers fell 3-1 to the Hawks. The Pioneers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

The final score came out to 25-18, 14-25, 25-20, 25-16.

Despite the defeat, Boswell had strong showings from Maribel Longspaugh, who had 21 digs and two aces, and Emma Stuhr, who had 15 assists and three digs. Longspaugh has been hot recently, having posted ten or more digs the last three times she's played.

Boswell's loss dropped their record down to 10-9. As for Birdville, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won ten of their last 11 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-5 record this season.

Boswell will square off against Greenville at 12:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Birdville, they will face off against Northwest at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
