Basketball Recap: Edison Comes Up Short

Edison and Ransom Everglades squared off in some playoff action on Monday, but Edison had to settle for second. They took a hard 50-32 fall against the Ransom Everglades Raiders.

Ransom Everglades' success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Quinn Pegg led the charge by almost dropping a double-double on 13 points and nine boards. That's the most rebounds Pegg has posted since back in December of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Zach Schatzman, who posted 11 points and three steals.

Edison's defeat dropped their record down to 5-11. As for Ransom Everglades, their record now sits at 11-15.

Edison does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Ransom Everglades, they will square off against Gulliver Prep on Wednesday.
