New Hope posted their closest victory since September 5th on Tuesday. They skirted past the Caledonia Cavaliers 3-2. This was a revenge game for the Trojans: when they faced off against the Cavaliers on September 13th, they had to take a 2-0 defeat.

New Hope had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first two sets, they turned around to win the next three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 17-25, 21-25, 25-21, 25-15, 15-7.

New Hope's win bumped their record up to 10-21. As for Caledonia, their loss ended a three-match streak of wins at home and dropped them to 18-12-2.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. New Hope will square off against rival West Point at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Caledonia is set to challenge their familiar foe Columbus at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
