Basketball Game Preview: Comanche Indians vs. Early Longhorns

Comanche and Early are an even 5-5 against one another since February of 2020, but not for long. The Comanche Indians will face off against the Early Longhorns at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Comanche has three straight victories, Early has four straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the court.

On Friday, Comanche didn't have too much trouble with Eastland as they won 41-24.

Meanwhile, Early played a tough game on Friday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They were dealt an 89-41 defeat at the hands of Peaster. While losing is never fun, the Longhorns can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 1360th, while the Greyhounds are ranked 517th).

Early's loss dropped their record down to 4-15. As for Comanche, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matches, which provided a nice bump to their 5-13 record this season.

Comanche strolled past Early when the teams last played back in December of 2024 by a score of 59-42. The rematch might be a little tougher for Comanche since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
