Volleyball Recap: Clinton Falls Despite Big Games from Jenna Jackson and Cameron Marshburn + How To Watch

If Clinton was feeling good fresh off their 3-0 takedown of James Kenan on Monday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Dark Horses fell 3-1 to the Wallace-Rose Hill Bulldogs on Wednesday. The loss continues a trend for the Dark Horses in their meetings with the Bulldogs: they've now lost three in a row.

Clinton started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. The match finished with set scores of 23-25, 25-19, 26-24, 25-20.

Cameron Marshburn and Jenna Jackson certainly did their best on Wednesday to avoid the loss. Marshburn had 21 digs and three aces, while Jackson had 17 assists and five digs. Marshburn is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had ten or more in each of the last five games she's played dating back to last season.

Clinton's record now sits at 1-1. As for Wallace-Rose Hill, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Clinton wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 3-0 victory against East Bladen on the 18th. As for Wallace-Rose Hill, they have also already played their next match, a 3-0 win against East Duplin on the 14th.
