Soccer Recap: Covina Starts Season with Loss at Home

Covina unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-pitch advantage in their season opener. They fell 2-0 to the Rosemead Panthers on Monday. The contest was a 0-0 toss-up at halftime, but Covina couldn't quite close it out.

Rosemead's win bumped their record up to 3-0.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Covina will challenge South Hills at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Rosemead, they will head out to challenge Santiago at 5:45 p.m. on Wednesday.
