Lorain's game last Friday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. They really took it to the Elyria Pioneers for the full four quarters, racking up a 41-14 win. The match was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 34-14.

When it comes to explaining why Elyria lost, don't look at Christian Rogers. Despite the final result, he picked up 86 receiving yards and a pair of scores. Rogers really caught the secondary sleeping when he pulled down a catch that went for 75 yards.

The victory got Lorain back to even at 1-1. As for Elyria, they are on a 12-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-2.

Looking ahead, Lorain will challenge Sandusky at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Elyria, they will take on Brunswick at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
