Basketball Recap: Wesleyan Takes a Loss

Wesleyan's game on Tuesday was all tied up 21-21 at the half, but sadly for them it didn't stay that way. They took a 64-53 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Paideia Pythons. The Wolves were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Pythons apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in January of 2020.

Despite the loss, Wesleyan still got an impressive performance from Connor Morehouse, who posted 16 points. Morehouse's evening made it three games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Judd Stewart, who earned seven points.

Wesleyan dropped their record down to 6-16 with the defeat, which was their tenth straight on the road. As for Paideia, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 13-10.

Wesleyan wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 53-47 win against Fellowship Christian on the 6th. Paideia has also already played their next matchup, a 62-60 victory against Landmark Christian on the 6th.
