Madison-Ridgeland Academy came tearing into Friday's game with six straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 22.3 points), and they left with even more momentum. They put the hurt on the Parklane Academy Pioneers with a sharp 49-24 victory. The contest was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 35-14.

Samuel Stockett continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, throwing for 414 yards and three TDs while picking up 13.4 yards per attempt, and also punching in one touchdown on the ground. Colson O'Cain was another key player, rushing for 111 yards and one score on only ten carries.

Madison-Ridgeland Academy's win bumped their record up to 7-1. As for Parklane Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to an identical 7-1.

Madison-Ridgeland Academy and Parklane Academy should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Mississippi Rankings.
