Volleyball Recap: Wauseon Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Wauseon came into their game on Monday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 3-0 to the Napoleon Wildcats. The Indians were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Wildcats apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in September of 2022.

While Wauseon ultimately came up short, they really made Napoleon work, particularly in the second set. The final score came out to 25-18, 26-24, 25-20.

Despite the loss, Wauseon saw an underclassman step up: freshman Halle Fogarty had 11 assists and two aces.

Wauseon's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Napoleon, their victory bumped their record up to 2-0.

Wauseon wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 3-0 loss against Fairview on the 19th. As for Napoleon, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-0 defeat against Anthony Wayne on the 19th.
