Basketball Recap: Southeast Collegiate Prep Academy Starts Season with Victory Against Hobgood Charter + How To Watch

Southeast Collegiate Prep Academy took care of business in their home opener (and then some) on Monday. They blew past the Hobgood Charter Raiders 71-23.

Jamarian Webb had an outrageously good game as he went 9-for-16 en route to 28 points. What's more, he also posted a 56% shooting accuracy, which is the highest he's achieved since back in December of 2024. Another player making a difference was Kanavieon McDaniel, who posted 11 points and six rebounds.

Southeast Collegiate Prep Academy smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 15 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least eight offensive boards in four consecutive games dating back to last season.

Hobgood Charter lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Khrie Rascoe, who had eight points. Carlos Martinez was another key player, putting up six points.

Southeast Collegiate Prep Academy has already played their next contest (against Rocky Mount Prep), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Hobgood Charter, they have also already played their next matchup, a 54-38 win against North East Carolina Prep on the 25th.
