Baseball Recap: San Marino Extends Home Winning Streak to 16

While San Marino's victory against South Pasadena wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Titans never let the Tigers get on the board and left with a 1-0 win on Wednesday. Winning may never get old, but the Titans sure are getting used to it with their fifth in a row.

San Marino saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Tom?s Bilvado, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base and one run.

San Marino pushed their record up to 21-6 with the victory, which was their 16th straight at home dating back to last season. The home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.2 runs on average over those games. As for South Pasadena, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost 16 of their last 20 contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-20 record this season.
