There's no place like home for Alvord, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Friday. They really took it to the Nocona Indians for the full four quarters, racking up a 62-6 win. The Bulldogs might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won three games by 55 points or more this season.

Zane Fuentes produced another solid effort rushing for 50 yards and three scores, while also picking up 30 receiving yards and one touchdown. Another player making a difference was Dalton George, who threw for 94 yards and three TDs while completing 75% of his passes.

They were just one part of a punishing run game: Alvord was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 273 rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now rushed for at least 273 rushing yards in three consecutive contests.

Alvord didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Jaxon Brown and Rhett Richey.

Alvord now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Nocona, their loss dropped their record down to 1-4.
