While Surry Central put up plenty of runs on Monday, the same can't be said for North Wilkes. The Golden Eagles were the clear victors by a 16-0 margin over the Vikings. The victory continues a trend for the Golden Eagles in their matchups with the Vikings: they've now won seven in a row.

Dru Gaddy looked comfortable as he kept things locked down with no earned runs or hits while striking out ten over four innings pitched. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two hits in three consecutive appearances.
