Fayetteville entered their tilt with Sacred Heart on Saturday with four consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with five. They came within a single set of losing the streak, but they secured a 2-1 W against the Indians. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Lions have posted since August 26th.

Lainey Gromaski paced Fayetteville's offense, picking up 18 kills. Gromaski got some help from Scotti Beseda and her 28 assists.

Fayetteville's victory bumped their record up to 16-8. As for Sacred Heart, with the loss, they broke their four-game winning streak and moved their record to 10-14.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Fayetteville will head out to challenge Manor New Tech at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Sacred Heart, they will venture away from home to square off against Weimar at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
