Evadale came tearing into Friday's match with seven straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 37.9 points) and they left with even more momentum. They blew past the Deweyville Pirates 92-28. With the Rebels ahead 43-15 at the half, the contest was all but over already.

Evadale had a senior duo take command as Jaden Gravis went 9 for 14 on his way to 20 points along with eight steals and seven assists and Warren Brewer went 9 of 13 en route to 23 points and seven boards. The game was Gravis' fourth in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Devin Terrell, who posted ten points in addition to six assists and four steals.

Evadale smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 18 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least nine offensive rebounds in eight consecutive matches.

Evadale has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 12 of their last 14 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 21-7 record this season. As for Deweyville, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-9.

Evadale will head out to face off against Danbury at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Evadale knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past five games -- so hopefully Danbury likes a good challenge. Deweyville has already played their next matchup (against West Hardin), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
