Baseball Recap: Milan Takes a Loss

After soaring to 24 runs the game before, Milan was a bit more limited in their game on Monday. They took a 5-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Switzerland County Pacers. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Pacers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 7-1 back in April.

Milan saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was John McKeown, who went 1-for-3 with one run, one double, and one RBI.

Milan's loss dropped their record down to 8-7. As for Switzerland County, their win bumped their record up to 10-7.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Milan is set to challenge their familiar foe South Ripley at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Switzerland County will take on rival Rising Sun at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
