Basketball Recap: Silverado Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Silverado can now relate to. They fell to the Mojave Rattlers 71-67. The loss continues a trend for the Skyhawks in their matchups with the Rattlers: they've now lost nine in a row.

Silverado's defeat dropped their record down to 10-17. As for Mojave, the victory (which was their seventh in a row) raised their record to 19-9.

Silverado does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Mojave, they will square off against Bishop Gorman at 8:15 p.m. on Friday. Mojave knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past 28 matches -- so hopefully Bishop Gorman likes a good challenge.
