Baseball Game Preview: Revere Minutemen vs. Villa Angela-St. Joseph Vikings

The Revere Minutemen will square off against the Villa Angela-St. Joseph Vikings at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. Revere's pitching crew has only allowed 2.9 runs per game this season, so Villa Angela-St. Joseph's hitters will have their work cut out for them.

Thursday just wasn't the day for Revere's offense. They came up short against Barberton on Thursday, falling 6-0.

The win made it two in a row for Villa Angela-St. Joseph and bumps their season record up to 5-8. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.5 runs over those games. As for Revere, their loss dropped their record down to 12-7.
