Basketball Recap: Overland Christian Comes Up Short

Overland Christian was the 37-34 winner over Christian Learning Center when they last played one another last Saturday, but their luck changed this time around. The Overland Christian Eagle fell 56-45 to the Christian Learning Center Mustangs on Thursday.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Christian Learning Center to victory, but perhaps none more so than Easton Rhodes, who posted 15 points. Another player making a difference was Jackson Bean, who scored 14 points.

Overland Christian has traveled a rocky road recently having lost eight of their last ten contests, which has put a noticeable dent in their 5-11 record this season. As for Christian Learning Center, the victory got them back to even at 12-12.

Overland Christian does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Christian Learning Center, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 44-42 win against Providence Classical Christian Academy on the 14th.
