Friday just wasn't the day for Jefferson's offense. They lost 3-0 to Burges on Friday. The defeat continues a trend for Jefferson in their meetings with Burges: they've now lost five in a row.

Meanwhile, Chapin also failed to score in their most recent game. They came up short against El Paso on Friday, falling 7-0. The shutout was out of character for Chapin seeing as the last time the team failed to score was back in January.

Chapin's loss dropped their record down to 9-6-2. As for Jefferson, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-9-2.
