The University Prep Panthers can now show off nine landslide victories after their most recent contest on Tuesday. They took their game at home with ease, bagging a 62-35 win over Anderson. Winning may never get old, but University Prep sure is getting used to it with their seventh in a row.
University Prep's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Trey Pringle, who scored 14 points along with four steals. Baron Grooms was another key contributor, scoring ten points along with three steals.
University Prep is on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 11 matches, which provided a nice bump to their 15-8 record this season. As for Anderson, they have not been sharp recently, as they've lost six of their last seven contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-16 record this season.
University Prep will be playing at home against Yreka at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Yreka is hoping to put an end to a four-game streak of away losses. As for Anderson, they will head out on the road to challenge Lassen at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Lassen and Anderson are at an even 5-5 over their past ten head-to-heads.
