Softball Recap: Desert Hot Springs Takes a Loss

Thursday just wasn't the day for Desert Hot Springs's offense. They lost 10-0 to the Cathedral City Lions on Thursday. The Golden Eagles haven't had much luck with the Lions recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.

Desert Hot Springs' loss dropped their record down to 3-7. As for Cathedral City, the victory snapped their losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 4-11 record.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Desert Hot Springs is set to challenge their familiar foe Banning at 3:30 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Cathedral City will face off against rival Desert Mirage at 3:30 p.m. on Monday.
