Basketball Game Preview: Valley Center Jaguars vs. Fallbrook Warriors

Valley Center hasn't had much luck against Fallbrook recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Valley Center Jaguars will take on the Fallbrook Warriors at 7:00 p.m. Valley Center is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 58 points per game this season.

It was a proper cat-fight when Valley Center faced off against Escondido on Friday. Valley Center managed a 49-43 victory over Escondido. The win continues a trend for the Jaguars in their matchups with the Cougars: they've now won six in a row.

Lincoln Zetmeir continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, going 9 of 17 on his way to 24 points and three steals. The game was his 23rd in a row with at least 19 points. Jonathan Teter was another key player, putting up five points and four steals.

Meanwhile, Fallbrook suffered their biggest loss since January 8th on Friday. They lost 71-45 to Ramona.

Valley Center's victory bumped their record up to 8-17. As for Fallbrook, their defeat dropped their record down to 17-8.

Things could have been worse for Valley Center, but things could have been a whole lot better as they took an 82-63 loss to Fallbrook in their previous matchup back in January.
