Volleyball Recap: Covenant Christian Takes a Loss

Covenant Christian lost against Deshler on Thursday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Eagles took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Tigers.

Among those leading the charge was Kendall Scogin, who had ten digs.

Covenant Christian has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost five of their last six matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-11 record this season. As for Deshler, they are on a roll lately: they've won 16 of their last 18 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 21-6 record this season.

Covenant Christian will challenge Russellville at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Deshler, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 2-0 win against Chelsea on the 13th.
