Sumrall came tearing into Friday's match with 11 straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 8.7 runs), and they left with even more momentum. They didn't even let the Raymond Rangers on the board, marking their second-straight 13-0 shutout. The Bobcats' pitching crew has been rock solid lately; the team hasn't given up a run in their last three contests.

Sumrall's win was their seventh straight at home, which pushed their record up to 27-5.
