Lukas Driver was a major factor while hitting and pitching. He tossed six innings while giving up three earned runs off six hits. Driver was also stellar in the batter's box, scoring four runs while going 3-for-4. Those three hits gave him a new career-high.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Brayden Unger, who went 3-for-6 with one home run, five RBI, and three runs. Those five RBI gave him a new career-high. Kason Rushing was another key player, scoring a run while going 3-for-5.
Fayette County moved to 9-16 with that victory, which also ended their five-game losing streak. As for Hamilton, their loss ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 12-14.
