It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Charlottesville had no problem doing just that on Monday. Everything went their way against the Millbrook Pioneers as they made off with a 5-0 win. Charlottesville might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won nine matchups by four goals or more this season.

They hit Millbrook with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Amin Zakari (3), Garrett Williams, and Thimson Duolo.

Charlottesville is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six games. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-0-3 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 25 goals over those six contests. As for Millbrook, the defeat snapped their winning streak at four games and leaves them with a 9-7-1 record.

Coming up, Charlottesville will head out on the road to take on Handley at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Handley will roll in looking for their tenth straight win, something Charlottesville surely won't give up without a fight. Millbrook does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
