Volleyball Recap: Zion-Benton Takes a Loss

Zion-Benton lost against Grant Community back in August of 2019, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Zee-Bees fell 2-0 to the Bulldogs. The Zee-Bees have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-10, 25-9.

Among those leading the charge was Jill Hobson, who had 11 assists and five aces. That's the most assists she has posted over her last six games.

Zion-Benton's defeat dropped their record down to 5-9. As for Grant Community, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 7-11.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Zion-Benton will face off against Warren Township at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Grant Community, they will square off against Wauconda at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
