Volleyball Recap: St. Croix Prep Takes a Loss

St. Croix Prep and St. Croix Lutheran squared off in some playoff action on Tuesday, but St. Croix Prep had to settle for second. They fell 3-1 to the Crusaders. The Lions were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Crusaders earlier this season, when they won 3-2.

Olivia Footh had a dynamite game For St. Croix Lutheran., getting 11 digs and two aces. Footh has been hot for a while, having also posted 16 or more assists the last ten times she's played.

St. Croix Prep's defeat dropped their record down to 14-8. As for St. Croix Lutheran, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 18-8.

St. Croix Prep does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for St. Croix Lutheran, they will square off against New Life Academy at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday.
