With a playoff win on the line, Desert Hills rose to the challenge on Tuesday. They came out on top against the Orem Tigers by a score of 3-1. The win was nothing new for the Thunder as they're now sitting on nine straight.
Annie Gilmore paced Desert Hills' offense, picking up 20 kills. Gilmore got some help from Jayla Ybright and her 38 assists. Malia Headrick and Presley Decker kept things locked in from the service line: the pair finished with two aces apiece.
Desert Hills' victory bumped their record up to 24-8. As for Orem, with the defeat, they broke their eight-match winning streak and moved their record to 28-4.
As of now, neither Desert Hills nor the Tigers have any future games scheduled.
